intrusion prevention : firewalls have features which are advanced that can detect and restrict attack patterns proving extra security against malware.


ways you can configure your firewall

open and close ports: specific port numbers you might want to open or close, this is done by creating rules for specific protocols lie udp or tcp.

remove programs : you can remove programs that you don't want to allow from allowed list if you don't want them to have access anymore.

allowed programs: browse your computer and add allow programs you want the firewall to allow.
